Both hailing from culturally vibrant Sindhi families, they were raised with an appreciation for the beauty and significance of Indian wear.

One Diwali, Kamlesh set out to find the perfect Kurta set for Ritika, hoping to surprise her with something special. He returned with a beautifully designed outfit that, at first glance, seemed perfect. However, as they examined it more closely, they discovered the painful truth – what was advertised as pure cotton was, in reality, a blend of rayon. This moment became a turning point in their lives.

Kamlesh and Ritika refused to accept this deception as the norm. Instead, they embarked on a journey to create something that truly represented the heart of Indian culture. They scoured the land for the finest materials and painstakingly designed pieces that not only celebrated tradition but also prioritized comfort and authenticity.

Their dedication bore fruit, resulting in outfits that not only looked stunning but felt incredibly comfortable, all while being crafted from the highest-quality materials. With each creation, they knew exactly what went into it, and they couldn't wait to share this knowledge with others.

In September 2017, Jazba was reborn as Hitakshi. Named after their beloved daughter, Hitakshi embodied their vision – a brand built on love, trust, and a relentless pursuit of authenticity.
